Mayanalytics is a technology and data company that develops growth automation software for Amazon sellers. Our initial product set includes:

  • Advertising management, which optimizes the performance of our customers' campaigns to deliver higher sales and profits
  • Inventory management, which utilizes forecasting based on organic and ad-driven sales to predict when inventory needs to be restocked

The Team

At Mayanalytics, we build innovative tech products that create significant competitive advantages for our customers. The core MIT founding team brings experience across e-commerce, tech infrastructure, marketing, finance and deep expertise in the Amazon seller ecosystem. The Role

Mayanalytics brings a data-driven approach to the Amazon ecosystem

As our first Product Manager, you'll play a key role in crafting the Mayanalytics platform. You’ll work closely with the founders and in collaboration with our engineering, design, and customer experience teams to help create, shape, and ship critical parts of the product. Above all, you’ll know how to balance a data-driven approach with a focus on human-centered design.

Here are some things you’ll do

  • Develop and set the product vision and strategy alongside the COO and CEO
  • Develop and drive the overall product roadmap (across multiple sub-products and platforms)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, measure, and drive key product metrics
  • Identify user and product insights based on qualitative and quantitative research and analysis
  • Scope and prioritize product development activities
  • Work with designers to create new feature prototypes that support the overall product strategy
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to manage and prioritize the delivery of new product features
  • Work with cross-functional partners to support the launch of new product features
  • Tirelessly advocate for our customers
  • Continuously analyze customer feedback to incorporate it into the product
  • Ruthlessly prioritize our backlog to make sure we're always working on features that move the needle for our customers and the business

Must Haves:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager
  • You’ve shipped great products as a Product Manager, Engineer, Designer, or Founder
  • You’re a creative product thinker who can combine quantitative thinking with good taste
  • You have incredibly strong data analytics skills and can structure complex analyses to answer key product questions
  • You’re equal parts artist and data-nerd, you’ll be an expert at putting the human back into what the data tells us
  • You are an excellent communicator with great attention to detail
  • You love the craft of shipping software and take pride in the outcome
  • You are scrappy and enjoy finding creative ways to plow through obstacles
  • You are able to do high-quality work in an all remote setting
  • You know how to project manage a team, aligning goals with feasible timelines, and love hitting deadlines.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience building/launching products in the fields of data visualization, process automation, and data science
  • E-commerce experience
  • Amazon 3rd Party sellers ecosystem experience
  • Strong data analysis
  • Experience working on B2B SaaS web platforms
  • Coding experience with Javascript and React frameworks
